About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Efficiently assemble components utilizing both hand and power tools
  • Operate manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency
  • Adhere to Process Work Instructions and manual production processes
  • Achieve production standards for various tasks within the allotted time frame
  • Handle materials by lifting, positioning, and/or removing them from the work area as needed
  • Manage materials using a bridge crane for loading, stacking, and transportation purposes
  • Interpret schematics to accurately assemble machine components
  • Collaborate with fellow assemblers to construct the final product
  • Test and inspect components to ensure they meet our standards of uniformity and quality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in wind, energy, or heavy industrial manufacturing
  • 3+ years of advanced, hands-on experience using standard, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools
  • Ability to understand and apply mechanical and physical principles to solve problems
  • Ability to train others, read and follow written instructions in English
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
