About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the sourcing process throughout the bidding process, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and competitiveness of the supply base
- Co-ordinate package negotiations and develop and implement value-adding commercial strategies
- Manage the contract closing process, including document drafting and stakeholder approvals via the ERP system
- Build supply market intelligence and ensure that the right supply base is available to enable our sustainable growth strategy
- Ensure that all cost out and value creation opportunities are identified, and that relevant risk assessments are completed and acted upon to reduce risk
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, law or finance
- 10+ years of procurement, commercial or project management experience, ideally within the energy industry or the construction industry
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Capable of taking initiative and seeing tasks through to completion
- Detail oriented, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities where priorities frequently change
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify risks and opportunities
- Problem solving abilities and a continuous improvement approach
- Team oriented with a collaborative mindset
- High ethical standards and focus on compliance
