About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive the sourcing process throughout the bidding process, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and competitiveness of the supply base
  • Co-ordinate package negotiations and develop and implement value-adding commercial strategies
  • Manage the contract closing process, including document drafting and stakeholder approvals via the ERP system
  • Build supply market intelligence and ensure that the right supply base is available to enable our sustainable growth strategy
  • Ensure that all cost out and value creation opportunities are identified, and that relevant risk assessments are completed and acted upon to reduce risk

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, law or finance
  • 10+ years of procurement, commercial or project management experience, ideally within the energy industry or the construction industry
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Capable of taking initiative and seeing tasks through to completion
  • Detail oriented, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities where priorities frequently change
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify risks and opportunities
  • Problem solving abilities and a continuous improvement approach
  • Team oriented with a collaborative mindset
  • High ethical standards and focus on compliance
