About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive the sourcing process throughout the bidding process, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and competitiveness of the supply base
Co-ordinate package negotiations and develop and implement value-adding commercial strategies
Manage the contract closing process, including document drafting and stakeholder approvals via the ERP system
Build supply market intelligence and ensure that the right supply base is available to enable our sustainable growth strategy
Ensure that all cost out and value creation opportunities are identified, and that relevant risk assessments are completed and acted upon to reduce risk

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, law or finance
10+ years of procurement, commercial or project management experience, ideally within the energy industry or the construction industry
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Capable of taking initiative and seeing tasks through to completion
Detail oriented, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities where priorities frequently change
Strategic mindset with the ability to identify risks and opportunities
Problem solving abilities and a continuous improvement approach
Team oriented with a collaborative mindset
High ethical standards and focus on compliance
