About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure reliable operation of our wind turbines by performing on-site servicing and maintenance
  • Work as part of a team (typically 2–3 people), responsible for inspecting and repairing turbine rotor blades
  • Gain an understanding of the complex structure of rotor blades and their components
  • Perform modification work to improve turbine performance
  • Apply practical skills with laminating resins and composite materials
  • Record work digitally in a simple and efficient manner

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, metalworking, mechanical or automotive engineering, building services engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
  • Specialist knowledge of epoxy resins, glass fibre and carbon fibre
  • Ideally certified in rope access (FISAT or IRATA)
  • Strong safety awareness, especially when working with hazardous substances
  • Ability to prepare and document technical reports independently
  • Willingness to travel within Germany during the week; home on weekends
  • Comfortable using Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps; experience with SAP desirable
  • Driving licence; C1E preferred
  • Very good German and good English skills
