About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You act as a subject-matter expert in offshore procurement and cover all technical procurement-related activities
- You manage and support complex procurement processes and negotiations for offshore construction scopes
- You advise and coach colleagues in purchasing on offshore procurement strategies, contract structures and supplier management
- You work closely with project teams, sales and supply chain to ensure the availability of subcontractor capacity at optimal cost, quality and safety standards
- You ensure effective supplier management, including HSE compliance, quality and timely performance for offshore projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Practical experience in strategic procurement and in contract negotiations for offshore or high-volume logistics categories
- At least 5 years of procurement experience related to the offshore wind industry, maritime logistics or indirect procurement
- Degree in procurement, supply chain, engineering, logistics or a comparable qualification
- Experience handling large, high-value procurement volumes
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
