About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform quality inspections of incoming materials and outgoing products to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards
- Identify, document, and reject non-conforming materials and products, preventing quality issues from impacting operations or customers
- Verify product dimensions and functionality, comparing inspection results against defined requirements and specifications
- Accurately record inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions in inspection reports and the Vestas Non-Conformity Registration system
- Collaborate closely with Warehouse Inbound and Outbound teams, promoting quality awareness and supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain
- Investigate quality deviations, support root cause analysis, and ensure quality-related issues are resolved promptly
- Recognize risks and opportunities for improvement in advance, promoting higher quality performance and operational excellence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training in a technical field and at least 2 years of experience in an industrial or technical environment, ideally in a warehouse setting
- Solid technical abilities and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings with ease
- Good understanding of quality control standards and inspection methods
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP Warehouse Management and the wind industry is beneficial
- Structured and organized approach while managing priorities effectively
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others while solving problems effectively
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
