About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • This role will take ownership of planning assignments, build detailed programmes using Primavera P6, MS Project, and 4D Planning, and deliver accurate reporting to drive project success.
  • You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor progress, and provide solutions to mitigate delays, while also guiding junior colleagues and ensuring adherence to project management standards.
  • Independently deliver and own elements of planning assignments, applying strong technical and analytical skills to meet project objectives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective communication and high-quality project delivery within budget and timeframe.
  • Prepare, maintain, and analyze project schedules, progress reports (including s-curves and earned value), and other documentation as required.
  • Monitor project progress, advise on mitigating delays, and conduct forensic delay analysis as needed.
  • Apply and share knowledge of standard planning, programme management practices, and SOPs; mentor and support junior team members.
  • Ensure compliance with risk, safety, and project management principles, escalating issues and contributing to process improvements.
  • Interpret data, support decision-making with clear recommendations, and provide timely, accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Build master programmes from scratch, including logic links, resource, and cost loading using advanced scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of BS Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Planner with a professional experience in consultancy or contracting
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Ms Project and with 4D Planning
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills to collaborate with peers, immediate seniors, cross functional teams and build relationships
  • Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to drive positive change and challenge status quo
  • Knowledge in Power BI is an advantage
