About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Works and supports global and in-country pursuit teams with the coordination and development of creative, compelling, and quality end-to-end proposals
- Ensures compliance with client requirements as stated in bid documents (RFI, EOI, RFQ, RFP, Pre-Qualification and Panels)
- Leads pursuit teams through the full proposal management process from proposal kick-off meetings to collating key information, resource coordination, content development and production and eventually submission of proposals
- Collaborates with different pursuit teams to build competitive and winning proposals that provide value to clients
- Analyses bids of varying complexities and develops bid management plans to capture client requirements and lay out a proposal schedule which includes milestone activities, dates, and logistics considerations
- Facilitates proposal review meetings to determine compliance and apply lessons learned to add more value
- Leads the proposal document design and works closely with designers to develop graphical collaterals, ensuring adherence to branding guidelines and bid instructions
- Coordinates with technical teams, corporate teams, partner firms, and/or subconsultants to gather proposal content and additional company information needed on an agreed schedule
- Tailors staff resumes and past performances section of proposals in accordance with the pursuit or scope of work
- Performs other pursuit-related administrative tasks as needed
- Assists the Team Leader in training Proposal Coordinators, provides guidance to the team on the Arcadis Way of Client Development and liaises with section managers on required trainings
- Helps manage the team's workload and monitors RMS as needed
- Obtains feedback from proposals for “lessons learned” to incorporate in future proposals
- Contributes, participates and provides support on the continuous process improvement of the Global Shared Service Center
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) is an advantage
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in coordinating, scheduling, editing and producing proposals, statement of qualifications, reports, pre-qualifications and client presentations
- Supervisory experience is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, or other relevant fields
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Preferably tech savvy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment and dedication through participation in process improvement initiatives and other team-related activities
- Ability to work under pressure, including handling high-volume tasks and responding to quick turnaround requests
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
