About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide entry level technical design with a focus on process controls and power distribution.
- Work in a multi-discipline team environment.
- Involve in the collection, treatment and distribution of water for public use.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) / Engineer in Training (EIT) license or ability to obtain within one (1) year from date of hire.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs and their use.
- Experience developing logic software for Modicon, Allen-Bradley or other PLC.
- Basic knowledge of graphics development for user interface devices such as a computer workstation.
- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD, Visio, or other graphic drafting development software.
- Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.
- Experience using ETAP, SKM Power Tools or other power systems analysis software.
- Internship / part-time work for a consulting engineering firm or systems integrator.
- Academic emphasis on computer controls, logic systems and three phase power systems.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project and Outlook).
