About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with a dynamic and growing team to support projects through all phases of the site evaluation and remediation life cycle
Contribute to environmental investigation, remediation, and technical reporting, working across multiple projects
Support various project managers as an assistant project manager
Manage project budgets and direct field staff in data collection
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures for you and your project team
Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders under the supervision of the Project Manager
Support the development of conceptual site models and contribute to the design, modification, or optimization of site remedies
Write and review technical reports
Help organize work schedules with Arcadis staff and subcontractors
Produce cost estimates, forecast project spend, review client invoices, and track key performance indices under the supervision of the Project Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

4–8 years of experience in the environmental industry
Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field
Previous experience with environmental sampling, technical report writing and data evaluation
Strong focus on health and safety, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with California State regulations (preferred)
40-hour HAZWOPER certification (with an annual 8-hour refresher, if applicable) (preferred)
