About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the planning, design, and delivery of highway, roadway, and utility infrastructure projects
Assist in preparing preliminary and detailed design drawings, technical reports, and engineering memos
Support the design of highways, roadways, utility relocations, grading, and drainage
Coordinate with internal project teams, clients, contractors, and external stakeholders
Participate in field investigations, data collection, and analysis
Develop design drawings and models using tools such as OpenRoads or AutoCAD Civil 3D

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
3–5 years of relevant engineering experience
Proficiency in CAD tools, preferably MicroStation, OpenRoads/InRoads, or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Understanding of highway, road, and/or utility design principles
Familiarity with municipal and/or provincial standards, including MTO, is an asset
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
