About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform civil design and project management tasks for a variety of projects
  • Support senior staff on civil design and permitting efforts for municipal clients
  • Provide design review services for contractor developed packages
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes
  • Attend to travel needs for workload over other offices and client-sites as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6 years or more of experience in civil engineering
  • BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • EIT certification
  • Experience in design of land development projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Blue Beam software
  • Experience with MS Project or P6, MS Office Suite
  • Experience with hydraulic models such as Water CAD, Sewer CAD, ICPR, HECRAS
  • PE License in Alabama, Florida or Mississippi
