Engineer

• Support our US Places Design & Engineering business area
• Work with Fire Protection Engineers, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineers, Architects, and clients on facility design projects including Federal projects
• Lead fire protection discipline of multiple projects through proposal, design, and construction phases
• Travel to project sites (approx. 1 week a month) for site surveys and data collection

Fire Protection Engineer

• provide support and assistance to the other team members
• assist in the running of design meetings or construction meetings
• assist with field checks and preparing written and photographic materials
• assist in the correspondence, reports, procedures, guidelines, meeting minutes, and proposed actions
• help coordinate with the Design Team for conformance review and timely and accurate responses
• assist in requests for information, submittals, construction change documents, etc.
• assist in the maintenance of project files in both electronic and paper format
• assist in the project budget and keeping the project on schedule
• help in the monitoring of compliance to applicable codes and practices

Project Engineer I

Consultant

• Contribute technical or project management in Environmental permitting procedures (EIA, VIA, AIA, AU);
• Technical support/project management for Renewable Energy Projects; (Wind/Photovoltaic/Hydrogen);
• Supporting the development of large and multidisciplinary projects with technical and/or project management role.
• Manage communication directly with both clients and suppliers, acting as client’s representative;
• Collaborate with Arcadis teams all over the world.

Civil Engineer

• Als register ontwerper (RO) binnen onze adviesgroep Structural Design & Engineering (SD&E) werk je aan uitdagende opgaves.
• Jij kan daar als register ontwerper aan meewerken.
• In jouw rol als ervaren constructief ontwerper pak je zelfstandig de verantwoordelijkheid op voor het ontwerpen en berekeningen van gebouwconstructies, in hout, staal en beton.
• Je werkt actief mee aan de duurzaamheidsstrategie van Arcadis en maakt zo onderdeel uit van onze maatschappelijke betrokkenheid.
• Als register ontwerper (RO) draag je de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor het constructieve ontwerp en de constructieve veiligheid.
• Daarbij ben je verantwoordelijk voor de uitwerking van het ontwerp door modelleurs en constructeurs.
• Je ondersteund je collega constructeurs en onderhoudt het contact met de opdrachtgever over de technische inhoudelijke zaken.
• Je bewaakt de kwaliteit en de voortgang van de uitwerkingen.
• Je pakt projecten proactief op, waar je die ziet en met een onderscheidende aanpak weet je die uit te werken in creatieve, slimme en winstgevende constructies.

Full-stack Engineer

• The role will nominally be based out of Manchester, but candidates will be considered in line with our agile / hybrid working policy.
• Project duties will include the preparation of design solutions at various stages of a project; production management of drawings / BIM models, reports, specifications and estimates; document management; attendance at meetings, and overseeing the work of other team members to deliver project objectives;
• Project management duties will include co-ordination of a wide range of discipline inputs; monitoring and protecting our client relationships; planning and programming; commercial management and presenting projects for audit;
• Leading on the resolution of technical issues on projects and providing technical guidance to other team members, such as more junior engineers, technicians and apprentices;
• Working in collaboration with other design disciplines and contractor D&B teams to ensure the integrity of the overall design;
• Promoting and developing the technical capability of other team members, both within the UK and within our Global Excellence Centre;
• Overseeing the financial performance and contractual management of single discipline projects . Responsible for ensuring compliance with quality management and reporting systems.

Principal Engineer – Development Infrastructure

Billing Specialist

• The Accounts Receivable Billing Analyst is responsible for Project Maintenance, Project Invoicing, Project Reporting and Analysis.
• Gives assistance to Project Managers and Stakeholders as required.
• Setting up Projects in line with Project Managers requirements;
• Reforecasting projects in line with Project Managers requirements;
• Ensuring billing is completed as per Project Managers instructions;
• Includes Fixed Price invoicing and Time & Materials Invoicing;
• Monitor and manage invoices for assigned workload on the Invoice Status report;
• Attach final invoice packages on the accounts receivable line in Oracle;
• Verify receipt of contracts in Contacts Storage System (CLS) and record if the status should be classified as interim or final;
• Interface with Cash Receipts and Accounts Payable departments;
• Monitor validation reports for project set up issues and make necessary adjustments weekly;
• Carrying out inter-project time and expense transfers;
• Setting up variations;
• Checking and ensure the correct revenue recognition (POC%, cost, revenues, WIP, backlog);
• Interpret and clarify project results, deviations, underlying causes and corrective actions to be taken;
• Monitor work in progress & unbilled receivables;
• Maintaining forecast and actual project billing dates;
