About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, analyze, and test fluid systems including pneumatic, cryogenic, thermal, and environmental control systems.
Develop and validate models of fluid systems using relevant software tools.
Conduct experiments and analyze data to understand system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate fluid systems into aerospace vehicles.
Prepare technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
Ensure designs comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical input for continuous improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Four-year aerospace or mechanical engineering degree (or similar discipline)
10+ years of experience in a similar role
Experience with Solid modelling or plant modelling, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and configuration control of engineering and documentation.
Knowledge of standard components, installation, and fabrication methods of piping systems (pipe stock, fittings, connections, valves, fasteners, structural members, fittings, welding, etc.)
Experience using analysis tools specific to piping (such as: CAEPipe, Bentley AutoPipe, CEASAR, AFT Fathom/Arrow, Sinda Fluint, Simulink, etc.)
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
