About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop long-term software strategies and roadmaps for the TeraWave constellation
Recruit, structure, and mentor a high-performing software engineering team responsible for flight and terminal software
Lead the design, development, and validation of embedded software for optical and RF communications
Collaborate with hardware, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure software reliability and compliance with space-grade standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 6 years leading technical teams
4+ years of experience in space flight avionics or software development
Proven success bringing complex connected software from prototype to deployment in production
