About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle
  • Lead the overall physical integration and packaging of structural, mechanical, fluids, and avionics subsystems
  • Create and manage interface definitions between vehicle subsystems and potential payloads
  • Coordinate regular configuration reviews to address interfaces, subsystem functionality, assembly and operations
  • Communicate and collaborate with all development teams involved on projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.S. degree in engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience in the development and packaging of aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures
  • Demonstrated configuration control experience from early trade studies through final design and into manufacturing and test
  • Strong design and integration skills using 3-D CAD software and visualization tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling and planning principles and tools
  • Good judgment and flexibility
  • Driven to achieve results.
