About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle
- Lead the overall physical integration and packaging of structural, mechanical, fluids, and avionics subsystems
- Create and manage interface definitions between vehicle subsystems and potential payloads
- Coordinate regular configuration reviews to address interfaces, subsystem functionality, assembly and operations
- Communicate and collaborate with all development teams involved on projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. degree in engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in the development and packaging of aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures
- Demonstrated configuration control experience from early trade studies through final design and into manufacturing and test
- Strong design and integration skills using 3-D CAD software and visualization tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling and planning principles and tools
- Good judgment and flexibility
- Driven to achieve results.
