About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide oversight of employees performing engineering and technical tasks
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, business partners, peers, and direct reports
- Develop Capability engagement framework and assessments across the enterprise
- Lead training and development initiatives to create industry best in class I&DS talent
- Help develop Technology Strategy and roadmaps across the enterprise for I&DS
- Help oversee the I&DS Strategic Investment and Capital project portfolio by supporting Long Range Business Planning exercises, enabling project leaders, and ensuring projects are effectively planned and executed to meet key milestones
- Strive to continuously innovate to improve existing processes and frameworks
- Develops and maintains a culture of seeking to understand, courage to speak up, and active listening to manage, develop and motivate employees
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role or completion of the Boeing internal course 'Exploring Leadership'
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering related role working in a lab test, flight test, or similar test environment
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
