About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Integrates daily Platform aircraft support plans with Operations Leadership.
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Production Flight Operations Engineering support as well as Advanced and Additive Manufacturing.
- Effectively plans and executes statement of work (cost, schedule, technical & safety).
- Establish, track, and automate value added metrics that help to effectively manage the business.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Establishes, develops, & maintains partnerships with team, customers, stakeholders, peers, & partners.
- Effectively communicates with team, leadership, and stakeholders.
- Mentor, motivate, and provide growth and development opportunities for team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering related role
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience)
- Experience in aerospace related manufacturing operations or production support
