About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a working lead planning and assessing program requirements while integrating activities of other employees to accomplish program objectives
- Manage the scope of work for program activities and interaction with connected sites and other programs
- Project management for multiple activities and prioritization as necessary
- Identify resources needed for successful accomplishment
- Network Design, equipment procurement, equipment configuration and installation, cable and wire design and implementation, network break-fix, security plan integration, equipment decommission and surplus, capital/expense planning
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders and peers
- Exercise critical thinking and innovative problem solving
- Act as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team
- Capable of effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties
- Develop and execute project and process plans to implement policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) within the last 5 years
- 3+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & IOS implementations
- 3+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- 3+ years of experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
- 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- Top Secret security clearance with CI Polygraph (preferred)
- Experience with Palo Alto next generation firewall systems, network monitoring systems, and AAA/RADIUS/TACACS+ (preferred)
- Experience with Encryptors (preferred)
- Experience with DNS/DHCP/IPAM (preferred)
- Experience with team leadership (preferred)
