About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set the vision and roadmap for data platforms and products.
- Develop data products delivering insights across functions.
- Partner with architecture, insights, and data product leaders.
- Maintain and enhance existing data products across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, quality, and compliance standards.
- Engage with executives and stakeholders using strong communication and presentation skills.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing global team of data experts, developers, and product managers.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product value.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 17+ years of total experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform development, or related roles.
- 5+ years of experience leading global teams responsible for building data pipelines and data products.
- 5+ years of experience with hands-on designing and delivering data products using reusable, platform-agnostic ETL/ELT frameworks.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
- 5+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and SQL.
- 3+ years of experience in incorporating data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
