About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and lead a unique technical team for Boeing Phantom Works supporting various Special Programs and Capabilities
- Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures
- Provide input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
- Manage and advocate for acquiring resources for supporting department activities
- Technical management of suppliers and leading process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manage, develop and motivate employees and first-level managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors of Science degree in engineering, physics, mathematics or chemistry
- 9+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's or 7+ years of work-related experience with a Masters or PhD
- 5 years of experience with supporting US government developmental programs
- Experience with RF/Radar and/or Electro-Optic and/or Electronic/Electrical design and engineering programs
- Ability to coordinate with a highly experienced technical team and customers to clearly communicate safety plans, test plans and data collection
- Ability to create schedules, communicate clearly and execute developmental programs
- Experience working with US government project engineers and managers
