About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work directly under the guidance of the Lead Structure Technician
- Assemble, disassemble and/or modify systems and components IAW applicable Technical Orders and regulations
- Ensure timely repairs of maintenance activities
- Meet individual training requirements
- Comply and operate within a Safety Culture
- Work with Quality/Safety Teams to address occurrences and audit findings
- Perform within the MAST and Squadron Maintenance as part of a cohesive team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician/Aircraft Mechanic
- Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force operations and aircraft maintenance practices
- Must have Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licensed S rating or Military equivalent
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment
- Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance
- Proven knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force Electronic Record Keeping System (ERKS)
