About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Repair composite/fiberglass/metal damage on the aircraft
  • Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems
  • Configures aircraft and bench test equipment
  • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
  • Documents procedures and establishes processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
  • Comply with safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Inspect components and verify repairs for flightworthiness
  • Works under general direction, interfacing with On-Site Program Management
  • Ability to perform as part of a cohesive team, working toward a common goal

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have 3+ years’ experience with sheet metal work
  • Must have 1+ years’ experience with composite repair
  • Must have 1+ years’ experience with painting aircraft/components
  • Must have one of the following: Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Avionics Technician (AME-E) licensed or Military equivalent
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment
  • Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods
  • Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
