About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support engineering design, development, analysis, testing, and certification of avionics systems
- Assist in the development of test plans and procedures
- Coordinate system-level integration for mission avionics hardware and software
- Provide technical management of critical suppliers and Boeing software teams
- Gather information for proposal development and trade studies
- Ensure FAA, military certification, and airworthiness activities for systems and components
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical)
- 3+ years of experience in engineering
- Preferred: 5+ years experience for Level 4, 10+ years for Level 5
- Experience with Software Development Processes
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principles
- Experience with Data Networks, Communication Systems, and Navigation Systems
- Experience with Flight Management Systems and Mission Control Systems
- Experience with FAA and/or Military type certification requirements
- Experience troubleshooting avionic equipment
- Experience in hardware and software integration
