About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a pan platform team to execute RCM analysis, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, and schedule.
Enhance BDUK's RCM capabilities, through continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Evaluate and process change requests based on maintenance feedback, failure investigations, and reliability studies, incorporating lessons learned to improve processes.
Ensure all changes comply with industry standards and best practices.
Understand customer needs and requirements, provide expert advice on RCM methodologies.
Deliver clear reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and project outcomes.
Ensure defined RCM tasks are accurately reflected and updated within the relevant tools and systems.
Maintain and improve the organisation's reliability approach through systematic methods.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Eligibility for UK SC Security Clearance: Applicants must be able to obtain the necessary clearance.
Subject Matter Expertise in RCM: Extensive knowledge including hands-on experience in RCM including MSG-3, RCM-2 and FMEA methodologies.
Leadership and Mentorship: Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop junior engineers as an RCM SME.
Maintenance and Engineering Expertise: Strong background in maintenance and engineering, with practical application skills.
Risk & Reliability Management: In depth knowledge of risk and reliability management systems and techniques.
Understanding of Risk & Opportunity Management: Familiarity with the principles and practical application of risk and opportunity management in engineering contexts.
