About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver casting and structure component solution for torque converter, transmission, axle
  • Lead casting and structure component design, including 3D modeling, structure FEA analysis, design verification
  • Lead the development and validation, review PPAP
  • Provide engineering support to drivetrain casting & structure component localization
  • Work with global cross function team to deliver qualified drivetrain components
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus to meet customer needs from PQVC by applying new technology

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Material Science
  • Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of effective self-management practices
  • Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods
  • Knowledge of tools and techniques of specialized graphics programs (e.g. Creo, Creo Simulate for FEA, bolt joint analysis, etc.)
  • Knowledge of process (e.g. casting, forging, machining, heat treatment, inspection)
  • Knowledge of torque converter, transmission, axle, the casting and structure component features
  • Fluent in English (reading, listening, writing and speaking)
