About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You’ll join a team with diverse project responsibilities and have valuable networking opportunities with all levels of Caterpillar employees.
- The internship is a 40-hour-per-week assignment lasting 12 weeks.
- Focus on building business acumen in roles including (but not limited to): Business Operations, Marketing, Product Support Engineering.
- Define and deliver premium online experiences that generate leads, sales, and customer loyalty.
- Shape and support our brand by creating compelling stories and customer experiences aligned with business needs.
- Sell and support our products/services and deliver superior service and industry expertise for our dealers and customers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be currently participating in a Caterpillar student program
- Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year University/College in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Communications Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or Public Relations, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related degree programs
- Must have completed 12 credit hours prior to the start of the program
- Minimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA, no rounding
- Must be able to relocate to internship location for the duration of the internship and complete daily commute using reliable transportation
