About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Pricing interns work in a team environment to establish and execute optimal price levels for various products and services at Caterpillar.
  • Provide pricing recommendations and a thorough analysis of various business indicators including sales, competitive environment, and product value characteristics.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, marketing, accounting, and supply chain teams to drive value-based pricing strategies.
  • Execute strategic and tactical price action within a robust pricing governance framework.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be currently pursuing a degree at a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following degree programs: Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Business Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, or another business-related field, at the time of application and throughout the program
  • Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA (both Major GPA & Cumulative GPA).
  • 12 completed semester hours prior to the start of the internship.
  • Previous internship and/or relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical, initiative, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership involvement in student associations.
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel.
