About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate truck weigh scales, corn sampling and grading equipment, and manage entry of data into the accounting system
- Complete shipping, receiving and inspection documents neatly and accurately
- Participate in the plant maintenance program by performing routine preventative maintenance tasks and calibrations on the truck weight scales
- Report faulty equipment and interface with plant maintenance and IT staff to facilitate repair or replacement
- Participate in troubleshooting and process improvement activities in conjunction with plant maintenance and IT staff
- Play an active role in the plant housekeeping program
- Actively participate in safety, health, and environmental programs
- Approach every task with safety as the first work consideration
- Identify and mitigate hazards before starting work tasks
- Maintain situational awareness to identify and mitigate hazards while performing work tasks
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of Operations and/or Business Operations
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Pre-employment screenings may be required, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse
