About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design of wastewater M&E assets e.g., Pumping Stations, CSO's & associated civil structures.
- Equipment sizing & selection (pumps, mixers, pipework).
- TMA, NRSWA coordination.
- Early site investigation works coordination.
- Early procurement of materials.
- Attendance and input into internal and client design reviews.
- Involvement with cost to complete / budget reviews with contract delivery teams.
- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Preparation & management of project programmes.
- Managing Sub-contractors’ programmes.
- Developing and reviewing inspection Test Plans.
- Coordinating site activities with client.
Requirements
What you’ll need- HNC or higher within Mechanical Engineering discipline
- 5 years of Water Sector Experience
- DfMA Experience
- Membership of a relevant professional Body (Desirable)
- CEng (Desirable)
- CSCS (Desirable)
- APM or Equivalent qualification (Desirable)
