About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Working in a multi-disciplinary team delivering infrastructure projects.
- Responsible for delivery of civil and structural (highways) advice, analysis, calculations, designs, reports and specifications.
- Leading varying size projects and sub tasks from a technical perspective.
- Communicate designs effectively to the supporting teams and clients.
- Attendance for site visits, design reviews and client meetings.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
- Develop early solutions for drainage solutions, improvements and/or renewals.
- Organising discipline staff, assisting allocating work and ensuring delivery against planned timescales.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Safety including CDM responsibilities.
- Ensure work is carried out with relevant codes, standards and procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum BEng Civil or substantial experience to compensate.
- Membership of Professional Industry Body
- CSCS card
- Chartership with ICE, CIHT or similar (Desirable)
- Further industry recognised training and qualifications (Desirable)
- Project Management qualifications (Desirable)
- CDM qualifications (Desirable)
- Hydraulic Modelling (Desirable)
- Experience with new and historic highways (Desirable)
