About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for vendor management and KB operations
Set clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations aligned with organizational objectives
Drive accountability, performance management, and career development within the team
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and customer-centric thinking
Ensure effective resource allocation and workload management across global priorities
Lead and oversee relationships with a diverse global vendor network across multiple service lines
Enforce vendor performance standards, focusing on improving responsiveness, service quality, and turnaround times
Identify opportunities to consolidate vendors and leverage economies of scale
Own vendor pricing strategy, including renegotiation of contracts to drive cost reductions and improve margins
Implement and manage Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) frameworks, including vendor due diligence, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring
Track and report on vendor spend, savings initiatives, and ROI of vendor consolidation efforts
Partner with internal stakeholders to align vendor capabilities with business needs
Oversee the global KB, ensuring it is accurate, future proof, and compliant with evolving requirements
Define governance structures, including content ownership, version control, and audit readiness
Drive enhancements in the user experience of the knowledge base
Partner with technology and operations teams to improve KB tools, workflows, and usability
Identify and address SLA shortcomings, knowledge gaps or outdated documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or global operations
Prior people management experience, including leading and developing high-performing teams
Demonstrated success in reducing vendor costs and negotiating contracts
Experience owning or managing knowledge bases or content systems is strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing, financial modeling, or spend analysis
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive change in a global organization
