About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute key network operations including troubleshooting, cybersecurity compliance, and modernization preparation
Perform Tier 2 and 3 troubleshooting for network devices
Collect and trend baseline network metrics
Implement STIG corrections and assist with ACAS and SCAP scanning
Execute approved configuration changes and maintain device backups
Support cutover readiness and modernization cleanup tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of experience with network engineering
Experience using tools such as Wireshark or SolarWinds
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP, IP, DHCP, ARP, HTTP, SNMP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and QoS
Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and DoD security practices
Ability to create and interpret technical diagrams and documentation
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
8140 baseline CompTIA Security+ Certification
