About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform a wide variety of contract administration functions, including proposal development, cost strategies, modifications, review and negotiation of terms and conditions, and contract compliance
- Review and analyze solicitations for potential risks and suggested proposal strategies, including compliance with requirements and the recommended pricing approach
- Provide advice and counsel on risk issues, proposal strategies, and customer relationship management
- Negotiate and administer contracts independently with U.S. government customers and subcontracts with large and small business contractors across the breadth of contract types
- Negotiate teaming and non-disclosure agreements, and organizational conflict of interest plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with contract pre-proposal efforts, RFP or RFQ support, proposal support and submission, and post-award contract administration
- Experience working directly with industry or government procurement officials
- Experience with different contract types, including Cost Plus, Fixed Price, Time and Materials, or Incentive Fee contracts
- Experience reviewing terms and conditions and statements of work for areas of risk and risk mitigation, in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Experience negotiating contracts with industry partners, including non-disclosure and teaming agreements
- Ability to interpret federal regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Ability to manage multiple critical internal and external deadlines
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience with contract management, or Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience with contract management
