About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Resolve problems with complete end-to-end geospatial database solutions in a fast, agile environment
- Develop databases and systems from vision to production-ready
- Utilize experience with geospatial data ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity
- Help clients overcome challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies
- Ensure team-developed solutions consider architecture and operating environment
- Identify needed system improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in software with a cloud-first development approach
- 4+ years of experience with enterprise data engineering development, including geospatial data
- 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience working with ETL / ELT pipeline development using OCI services
- Experience with data lakes, data warehousing, and analytics platforms
- Experience developing and deploying production geospatial solutions from concept to O & M
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree
