As an Avionics Obsolescence Engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems
Designing and integrating missile systems
Managing the acquisition Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process in support of complex control systems
Transforming Mission Systems requirements to improve missile performance
Working with existing teams to understand current challenges
Collaborating with OEMs to redesign, develop, and integrate upgrades
Augmenting designs and algorithms to better system performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in avionics or obsolescence
Knowledge of avionics systems and systems integration challenges
Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations to improve warfighter capabilities
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
Experience with modern Navy avionics systems (Nice to have)
Experience with the SETR acquisition process (Nice to have)
Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and CDRL reporting (Nice to have)
Knowledge of system targeting algorithms and test techniques (Nice to have)
Ability to analyze avionics designs and provide technical inputs (Nice to have)
Top Secret clearance (Nice to have)
Master's degree in an Engineering or Science field (Nice to have)
