About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- design and integrate radar systems
- manage the acquisition Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process in support of Electro-optic Infrared (EO/IR) systems
- transform Mission Systems requirements to improve EO/IR performance
- work with existing teams to understand current challenges
- collaborate with OEMs to develop and integrate upgrades
- assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to better system performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in EO/IR systems
- Knowledge of systems integration challenges
- Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations to improve warfighter capabilities
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific field
- Experience with modern Navy EO/IR systems (Nice to Have)
- Experience with the SETR process (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of system targeting algorithms and test techniques (Nice to Have)
- Ability to analyze EO/IR designs and provide technical inputs to improve performance and integration ease (Nice to Have)
- Top Secret clearance (Nice to Have)
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Nice to Have)
