About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Strategic HR Business Partner for Insurance will play a critical role in leading the HR strategy for the Insurance division within the Americas region.
  • This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in HR, analytics, and digital transformation.
  • The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving organizational effectiveness, talent management, resource management, team management and culture transformation aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • The HRBP will be bringing strong blend of hands-on experience with strategic leadership skills.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Possess at least 10 years of experience in a senior HR role, with a focus on resource management, employee development, performance management, organizational development, and talent acquisition
  • Experience in working in a global, multi-cultural, matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of resource planning, allocation, and optimization principles and methodologies
  • Familiarity with resource management software and tools to track, analyze, and report on resource utilization.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in HR metrics and analytics, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Have a strong understanding of compliance and risk management within the HR context.
  • Exhibit strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align HR strategy with business goals.
  • Show strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Display adaptability, with the ability to lead the organization through periods of change.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and advocate for HR initiatives and programs.
  • Possess additional certifications in HR management, such as the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, would be an asset.
  • Have experience in the Insurance business sector would be beneficial.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and expectations.
