About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides credit risk management for portfolio credits having a moderate to complex degree of difficulty.
  • Performs analysis to underwrite and monitor credit, completing existing and proposed credit approval requests.
  • Provides a high level of customer service and support.
  • Completes special projects as requested.
  • Reviews documentation to achieve understanding required for processing and monitoring of loans.
  • Responsible for approval within designated authorities.
  • Mentors and develops more junior portfolio managers and business partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for majors in accounting, finance or economics.
  • 3-5 years of credit analysis and/or loan review experience.
  • Must be proficient in basic software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with the Bank's internal applications is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and teamwork exhibition.
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment and multi-task.
  • Comfortable in a limited client facing environment.
