About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Focus on generating new business from prospects and under-penetrated clients within the Metals, Materials, and Construction sectors
  • Work jointly with a Relationship Manager on well-penetrated clients
  • Drive the development of new profitable business with a designated portfolio
  • Develop strategic sales plans and execute them
  • Manage client visitation and contact
  • Understand the clients' business environments, strategies, and industry
  • Promote sales through frequent client meetings
  • Manage proposal writing and the entire sales process
  • Generate cross-sell opportunities by maintaining strong working relationships with other lines of business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7 or more years of large corporate cash management, sales and relationship management experience
  • Experience supporting or selling Treasury Management solutions to clients within the Metals, Materials, and Construction sectors
  • Strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to generate ideas and identify new business opportunities
  • Excellent/strong selling and negotiation skills
  • Excellent/strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong industry/market expertise
  • Strong time management, organizational and planning skills
  • Strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
  • Ability to use various PC and internet-based systems to manage their business portfolio
  • Ability to obtain Series 7 and 63 licenses
  • Knowledge and understanding of Fifth Third products, credit process, overdraft management discipline, and pricing philosophy preferred.
