About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Delivers Locator Drawing (LD) files for each program on time per GPDS timing and to LD File Standards
Leads Dimensional Control Team meetings to establish meetings to establish locator and measuring points for commodities and vehicle programs
Ensures/Maintains alignment between LD Assembly Flow Diagrams (AFD's) and actual Manufacturing process inside and outside FMC.
Lead for Program LD File Change Control System (Web-Based Locator Revision Request – WLRR). Dispositions all within 10 business days.
Elevates any deviations from LD Standards to management for review and concurrence.
Reports the status for LD file delivery in program review meetings.
Educates Dimensional Control Teams about the various types of LD Files: Assembly Flow Diagrams (AFDs); Component and Assembly Coordinated Cut Plane Drawings (CCPs), LD tracking documents and all locator types and measurement point levels.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's of Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical preferred) or equivalent years' experience (10+ in Automotive Mfg environment)
Teamcenter/Vis Mock-up and NX experience is a must
GD&T experience is a must
Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate in stressful situations within timing constraints
Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
