About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Crafting and executing a sourcing strategy including resiliency measures, quality, cost and delivery objectives.
- Leading a global team with a strong background in end-to-end Supply Chain operations.
- Using data and expertise to quickly assess gaps in the supply chain team’s operations and create strategies to address them.
- Developing resiliency strategies raw materials to drive the Supply Chain transformation.
- Setting Supply Chain Category Management and Execution vision and strategy in alignment with the Ford+ plan.
- Creation and implementation of the strategic plan and objectives which will lower costs, maintain a successful supplier base, and ensure the materials needed to drive Ford’s production goals and the Ford + plan.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or similar
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Supply Chain or similar discipline
- 10+ years leadership experience
- Functional supply chain management experience gained through previous leadership in one or more areas of the function
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Ability to lead complex negotiations and excellent knowledge of contractual terms and conditions
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data to inform areas of opportunity
- Ability to influence change across all layers of an organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present in both forms with confidence at an executive level.
- Skilled at navigating a large, matrixed environment. Team player, adept at building relationships and adapting to a strong culture.
- Ability to break down complex issues and implement new and innovative strategies.
