About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- crafting and executing a sourcing strategy including resiliency measures, quality, cost and delivery objectives
- responsible for using data and expertise to quickly assess gaps in the supply chain team’s operations and create strategies to address them
- developing resiliency strategies for commodities impacting the passenger space to drive the Supply Chain transformation
- determining the best plan of action for Ford within the value stream map
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or similar
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Supply Chain or similar discipline
- 10+ years leadership experience
- Functional supply chain management experience gained through previous leadership in one or more areas of the function
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Ability to lead complex negotiations and excellent knowledge of contractual terms and conditions
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data to inform areas of opportunity
- Ability to influence change across all layers of an organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present in both forms with confidence at an executive level.
- Skilled at navigating a large, matrixed environment. Team player, adept at building relationships and adapting to a strong culture.
- Ability to break down complex issues and implement new and innovative strategies.
- Exhibit the Ford OS behaviors of Excellence, Focus and Collaboration and a high level of resilience to function in a complex environment.
