About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategic client relationships and serve as the executive point of contact for complex healthcare programs
- Develop long-term account strategies focused on client success, operational excellence, and business growth
- Manage the overall financial performance (P&L), budgets, revenue expectations, and profitability of assigned accounts
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders
- Lead large, cross-functional teams in delivering complex programs aligned with organizational goals
- Establish governance frameworks, meeting cadences, and accountability measures to ensure successful program execution
- Collaborate with clients to establish project management processes, monitor deliverables, and communicate progress
- Drive innovation through new technologies, process improvements, and operational best practices
- Lead procurement efforts, support RFP responses, and identify opportunities to expand services
- Manage change requests and ensure effective scope management throughout the project lifecycle
- Present strategic recommendations and program updates to executive leadership, clients, legislators, and other key stakeholders
- Partner across the organization to ensure contractual commitments, revenue objectives, and client expectations are consistently achieved
- Maintain expertise in Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit (MECT), Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA), and outcomes-based certification methodologies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- 5-10+ years of experience managing large client accounts
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 5+ years of direct people leadership experience
- 2+ years of Medicare and/or Medicaid experience
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Lean and Six Sigma
