About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Geological or Civil Engineering
  • Graduate degree (master's) with specialization in rock mechanics, soil‑structure interaction, or numerical modelling (an asset)
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in rock mass classification and the design of underground or open‑pit excavations
  • Registered professional engineer with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Advanced technical report writing skills
  • Bilingual (French and English), spoken and written
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
