About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for driving GURU sales growth across the Greater Quebec area.
  • Work closely with brokers and internal partners to maximize product distribution and on-shelf presence in key retail accounts.
  • Manage relationships with major retail accounts and independent distributors.
  • Build strong customer relationships and negotiate merchandising agreements.
  • Address customer concerns, resolve complaints, and follow up on post-sale activities to ensure satisfaction.
  • Conduct in-store visits to support sales efforts and monitor product performance.
  • Drive sell-out growth by ensuring optimal product placement, stock availability, and promotion execution.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with brokers to ensure effective execution of sales strategies and promotional activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • DEC (College diploma) in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the consumer packaged goods or beverage industry, with a proven track record in direct distribution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of retail and wholesale distribution models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to analyze data and adjust strategies as needed.
