About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and execute Hilo's Business Intelligence strategy, enabling data-informed decision making across the organisation.
Act as a strategic partner to Finance, Product, Commercial, Clinical and Leadership teams.
Translate complex business challenges into scalable analytics solutions and actionable insights.
Own the evolution of Hilo's BI capability, driving reporting excellence, data governance and self-service analytics.
Deliver timely, accurate and actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision making.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify analytical opportunities and define reporting requirements.
Drive adoption and continuous improvement of reporting and analytics tools across the organisation.
Monitor and enhance reporting performance, usability, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Maintain, establish BI standards, governance frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and reliability across analytics solutions.
Champion a data-driven culture across the organisation by promoting the effective use of data in decision-making.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience leading Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Management initiatives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience building scalable Business Intelligence solutions using platforms such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau or similar.
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts.
Experience working with data warehouses and cloud platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse, etc.).
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience with modern data stack technologies.
Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
Experience in Agile project management environments.
Relevant certifications (Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, etc.).
