About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and troubleshoot PLC programs.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Must be familiar with a variety of extruder/dryer processes and procedures relating to electrical and PLC matters.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks including leading and directing operators and other Technicians.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A technical background (education or equivalent experience).
- Experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLC.
- Knowledge in ControlLogic, RSVIEW3, Factory Talk SE& ME.
- Experience servicing, maintaining, or commissioning complex machinery or capital equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- A proactive and independent mindset, with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and passport, with willingness to travel in globally (approximately 50%).
- Flexibility to work weekends as required.
