About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform a variety of tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations
Inspect/supervise equipment and maintain operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirements
Collaborate with others to discover solutions to technical or operational problems
Follow all Company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures
Acquire knowledge of and adhere to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets
Oversee general knowledge of site/location/equipment/specific permits and compliance
Complete assigned reports, logs and maintain accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma/GED
Associates or two-year technical degree preferred
Minimum six (6) months mechanical, technical, or controls systems experience in the oil and gas industry or operations technician summer internship with Associates Degree
Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
Basic knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers
Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
