About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will lead and manage technical innovation projects end-to-end, ensuring structured execution and data-driven decision-making in accordance with established project management standards
In close collaboration with cross-functional and international teams, you will ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and aligned with strategic objectives
You will develop and optimize project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure transparency and efficient allocation of resources
As part of the Innovation PMO, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, governance, and best practices
You will drive initiatives in Open Innovation, Knowledge Management, and Data & Digital Transformation, embedding them into day-to-day project work
Additionally, you will support the implementation of advanced project and knowledge management tools (including AI-based solutions) and provide technical guidance based on your scientific expertise

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree or PhD in a scientific discipline; specialization in glass or ceramics preferred
Proven experience in technical project management with a structured, analytical, and data-driven approach
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
Experience or interest in PMO structures, process optimization, and digital/data-driven transformation (including AI)
Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English and German, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset and a passion for innovation
