About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the design, development, and validation of automotive wiring harness systems using industry-standard CAD and schematic tools.
  • Apply strong technical knowledge of low and high voltage electrical systems, automotive standards, and packaging principles.
  • Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure performance QCT, and OTD, FTR target % in milestones.
  • Attend management meetings to prioritize activities.
  • Design wiring harness for Digital mock up and support Physical Mock up.
  • Follow Design Rule, Regulation Benchmark, workability, Assembly check.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years of Working Experience in Harness routing using CAD tools (Catia V5) for Passenger cars & commercial Vehicles
  • Knowledge / working experience in any of Product Data management tools.
  • Knowledge of complete vehicle & vehicle architecture
  • Knowledge on harness components like Connectors, wires, relays, fuse, protections, supports etc
  • Experience in wiring harness & Vehicle development program and DFMEA.
  • Knowledge in Product Design and drawings of wiring harness including circuit schematics.
  • Knowledge of automobile EE functions, on high-end vehicles (BCM/EMS/ABS/Airbags)
